Today is April 9, National Unicorn Day. I am vacationing in St. Petersburg, Florida and decided to spend the morning storytelling at the distinguished school of Admiral Farragut Academy, https://farragut.org/ and
https://www.facebook.com/AdmiralFarragutAcademy/ . Two astronauts who walked on the moon are graduates from this school. I was invited by the amazing Media Specialist Susan Morris and spoke to both grades 3 and 4. The students are avid writers and I was in awe with their reaction and questions. I can think of no way better to spend National Unicorn Day! Thank you Admiral Farragut Academy for making my day such a treat! Thank you Maxine Keeping for the photographs.
